With our launch of a brand new range of CBD E liquids, this question has come up a lot - how much CBD should someone use? Whilst this depends on the individual and their own balance, there are some guidelines on how and how much.
What is CBD?
CBD is an active cannabinoid found in hemp that is extracted and used in e-liquids, supplements and oils. It is a non-psychoactive, relaxing extract and its effects depend on the amount you take eg. the greater concentration, the more relaxed you are likely to feel.
It’s important to note that we sell CBD products for their relaxing properties. To make any medical claims or to sell for medicinal use including pain relief, a distributor must have a license from the MHRA.
Is there a limit?
CBD does come with a limit. If it’s being taken as a food supplement the adult daily dose limit is 200 mg per day. Anything more than this would need supervision from a doctor. Whilst you can’t overdose on CBD, there may be ill-effects from going over the limit and this should be avoided.
Our new range of CBD herbs are 20% CBD, so 200 mg per 1g, the maximum consumption per day whilst our eliquids are all clearly marked.
How do I check how much CBD I’m using?
Our products are all clearly labelled with the amount of CBD so you should be able to plan you're doses based on this. Always check the label before taking any food supplements or oils.
How you consume it makes a big difference in how much is absorbed so be careful if you have CBD from different sources, such as herbal incense vs. oils.
The most accurate levels of CBD (guaranteed) will come from products made with pure crystal.
Where can I find CBD?
CBD will be in hemp products, the most popular of which are herbal supplements for a balanced diet and CBD oils.
Our new herbal supplements have 20% CBD and each packet will provide 1g per day, for example, Erbz LA Cheese or Gravity. We also offer these in 3g packs, & all of our Vapes & Liquids are clearly marked with their CBD content.
Our pure crystal oils would have to be calculated per item and will depend on how many drops are used; you should always calculate and make sure you know how many drops you’re using so you never accidentally exceed the limit.
- Essentially, the more information you have the better your experience with CBD will be.
- Always check labels for CBD amounts
- Be aware the adult daily dose has a max limit of 200 mg but if you’re a beginner you should take less - 5 to 10 mg a day
- Pure crystal products have the most accurate CBD amounts
