There are many benefits from creating your own product, firstly it is far more cost effective, you can tailor your own strength & utilise different extracts, experiment with flavours, introduce nicotine, adjust the ratios of the base oils not to mention the creation itself can be quite enjoyable!

So below we have an arsenal of all the bits & pieces that you need to create an eliquid, & how to infuse it with CBD.

CBD Eliquid instructions:

What you will need:

• CBD Extract (Brought onstore HERE)
• PG
• VG
• Flavour or Terpenes
• Eliquid Bottle or Needle Bottle
• Measuring Syringe or Jug depending on volume
• (Vaping device)

Eliquid itself is a simple combination of PG (Propylene Glycol) & VG (Vegetable Glycerin), The PG is associated with the 'Throat hit' & is quite sour, the VG creates the big clouds & is incredibly sweet.

So people play with these ratios to gain more throat hit or more cloud, yet a 50% / 50% mix is always a good starting point, then all you need to do is add the flavour at around 20% or a Terpene at around 10%

So if you were to simply syringe 40ml of PG, then 40ml of VG & then add 20ml of Flavour to an 100ml bottle then voila you will have created yourself an eliquid, & with those principles the ratios & flavours can be mixed up to create unlimited combinations.

Now, there is one further step to create a CBD Eliquid, for this the CBD extract must be mixed with the PG first & allowed to fully absorb until the PG liquid is clear, & then add the VG & flavour. We would recommend at least a few hours absorption & on larger batches overnight.

Isolate can be mixed directly into the PG, there is no need to heat it & is by far the easiest method

Yet if you want to create a full/broad spectrum the Canevolve oil or Broad spectrum Distillate will need gently heating to turn it into a liquid before it is added to the PG. The Canavolve comes in a sealed waterproof syringe & can be heated in a cup of hot water, The Broad Spectrum can be gently heated in the microwave or hob.

The only decision now is how much CBD do I add, it must be remembered that its the CBD % that gives a product its strength & not necessarily the CBD mg (amount)

For example 100mg CBD in a 10ml bottle will be 10x stronger than 100mg CBD in a 100ml bottle, the CBD amount remains the same yet is diluted with 10x more carrier oil. So we recommend working with % in mind rather than CBD MG (amount) when it comes to strength.

Now what % should you use? We would recommend 0.5% as the very lowest & 5% at the highest, the reason being is VG crystallizes CBD, so care must be taken when creating a high strength CBD eliquid with VG, & to create anything higher than 5% you would really need to up the ratios of PG.

So here are a few examples of CBD Eliquid mixes: With a 50/50 PG VG ratio using 20% of Flavourings

• 10ml - 1% CBD ELIQUID (100mg cbd) Add 100mg of cbd isolate to 4ml of PG, allow to sit for a few hours, then add 4ml of VG & 2ml of Flavour & shake.
• 30ml - 2% CBD ELIQUID (600mg cbd) Add 600mg of cbd isolate to 12ml of PG, allow to sit for a few hours, then add 12ml of VG & 6ml of Flavour & shake.
• 100ml - 3% CBD ELIQUID (3000mg cbd) Add 3 grams of isolate to 40ml of PG, allow it to sit for a few hours, then add 40ml VG & 20ml Flavour & shake.

Note: The same recipes can be used with all other extracts, yet the CBD isolate is recommended for beginners

If crystallization occurs it is recoverable, add more PG & heat it up & this should resolve it
